following:
- To share experiences.
- To give mutual support over the telephone.
- To give mutual support by meeting together
- To relieve anxieties
- To receive information and to learn of new developments.
- To pass on information to each other
- To make suggestions to JRH that might be of benefit to all
Meetings
We try to meet every three months or so in Oxford, usually at the John Radcliffe Hospital. Most of the meetings start with coffee at about 10.30 for 11.00 am. After a discussion at the end, those who wish to do so have lunch either in the Postgraduate Centre or the main cafeteria.
Occasionally we meet in the evening in the Stable Block at JR Hospital usually at 6.00 pm for light refreshment followed by the meeting. We would end usually about 8.00 pm.
The exact address is Legal Services, John Radcliffe Hospital, Osler Road, Headington, Oxford OX3 9RP.
Local contact is Belinda Isaacs on telephone number 01865 222693 (in emergency only).
From the main hospital make for the main reception. Go out of the main door and turn left. You will see the memorial garden on your left. Go round
this alongside Blackwells Bookshop. Walk slightly up hill until you get to the top. The Stable Block is across the road through a gap in the buildings.
Members also enjoy social lunches at the Mitre Inn in Oxford.
